About TCP Global

TCP Global evolved from The Colombia Project and continues the dual mission to: 1) provide affordable loans to impoverished entrepreneurs and 2) to establish a steady revenue stream for grassroots organizations working effectively to serve marginalized communities. TCP Global does the fund raising, mentoring and loan tracking necessary to build zero-overhead, sustainable micro-loan programs in underserved communities. TCP Global partners with any effective grassroots organization but is particularly interested in working through PCVs and RPCVs to serve their Peace Corps communities.

TCP Global is one of over 180 affiliates of the NPCA. In addition, TCP Global has a signed Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement whereby the NPCA serves as our fiscal agent, 501(c)3 and banker. This frees our all-volunteer team to focus on the work of mentoring over 100 grassroots partners, fundraising and strengthening our program. In return, through a separate funding stream, TCP Global solicits donations for the Community Fund -- the equivalent of 15% of what passes through the NPCA's TCP Global account as donations for loans. Over $60,000 donated to the Community Fund through August of 2021 supports new RPCV affiliates and new RPCV programs. 

For any affiliates that have not yet made the transition from 'dues-based' to 'mission-driven' support for the NPCA, we invite you to support two good causes with one donation. Support for the Community Fund through TCP Global will enable TCP Global to concentrate on raising funds for micro-loans (100% of that revenue stream is distributed as loans) AND you will support new RPCV initiatives to serve the developing world.
